Featuring: 2 Tone Runts
This is just a glimpse at what we shot last night for 2 Tone Runts’ music video of ‘Cute Girls in Combat Boots.’ We still have a lot left to shoot and of course putting it all together, but we’re pretty excited about what we captured last night and are super excited for rest of the process. I hope I’m not speaking to soon, but I think we’ve developed a crush on making music videos!
A few learnings from our first music video shoot:
1. it’s important to have an energetic band and ‘party-goers’ willing to play and listen to the same song over 25 times in a three hour period. thank you to the 2 Tone Runts and all their friends + fans. It really couldn’t have gone any smoother.
2. after listening to the same song over 25 times in a compressed amount of time, it’s guaranteed that song will be the soundtrack to your dreams ALL night long and in your afternoon nap the next day – it’s a good thing I like the song:o)
3. confetti is not any easy thing to clean up but it looks so cool!
