“Popperazzi” was a campaign of four videos created for Heinz Jalapeño Poppers, “Just the Right Kick” video contest. The contest ended in May and we’re still waiting to hear the results. Once the winners have been determined we’ll post the videos here…and hopefully announce good news:O) (**August 2008 Update: the winners for Heinz Poppers were announced. Unfortunately none of our videos were selected.**)
This was such a fun shoot. Justin and I developed a main idea and base commercial that we loosely scripted out, highlighting important talking points. We then rolled camera and let Mike’s natural presence and improvisational skills take over. We had so much footage at the end of the day, we were able to create four spots before the deadline. We have enough great footage to edit at least 3-4 more.
We shot on location at the Richfield Taystee Bakery and in the green screen studio. The concept reveals a behind the scenes look at the life of a dedicated member of the “Popperazzi“.
